CHAPMANZ

Chris Chapman and family moved to Nelson in 2004 leaving the UK for a sunnier place to live. Having run a successful plumbing and heating business as an Accredited CORGI gas installer and Approved and Registered Plumber installing Central Heating in the UK, Chris found it hard to believe that central heating, double glazing and adequate insulation was not standard requirements in newer New Zealand homes. He did not realise that the 3-4 months of winter get very cold especially with very poor heating, single glazing and insufficient insulation in the houses.

Although it was not Chris's intention to get involved in the central heating business, he found old habits die hard and his enthusiasm returned. Who wants to go fishing everyday when New Zealand homes require good quality, efficient and reliable heating and hot water systems?

CHAPMANZ have been installing high efficiency heating and solar systems for over 2 years in New Zealand. They have built a good reputation and working relationship with suppliers who import top range products from Europe.

There is a great deal of information on the internet regarding central heating, so we have only included some basic facts in order to make the concept a bit clearer to home owners who have never lived with it.
